The Medieval Tavern Prague – Restaurant U Krale Brabantskeho takes you back to the middle ages and brings an unforgettable Czech experience. This very old Prague restaurant opened in 1375 has the best location – right under Prague Castle.
Many myths and legends are related to this medieval Prague restaurant – for instance, famous W.A. Mozart himself used to get drunk here! Even Czech kings let dug secret passages into the tavern, so they could have a couple of wine glasses and forget about problems with the Czech land.

Experience a unique medieval show! The show makes you feel like you have travelled into the past. Food specialities are prepared over an open fire and eaten with bare hands.
The medieval music, played with a live band, makes you forget about the 21st century. You can look forward to a fire show, table dancers or a fakir with his snake. Do not miss the medieval show taking place every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday at 7pm.

If you are not starving, you can have just a small portion of food, or you can call it a starter before a huge feast. This starter menu includes melted, grilled or marinated cheese, a traditional Czech meal. Salad, soup or beef tartare are not missing too.
The main menu includes especially grilled meat (chicken, filet, pork, lamb). You can choose from grilled chicken breast, marinated pork collar or a platter of a knight. The platter of a knight is proper for a group of people. It consists of a chicken breast, 3 chicken wings, lamb chops and a pork collar. Each food is served with vegetables or a grilled potato. We didn´t even forget about the vegetarians, who can order a vegetable plate.
There is a menu offering only Czech cuisine, including beef goulash, duck leg, roast pork knee and more the Czech delicates.
The desserts are also typical Czech, you can sweeten your life with medovník (a honey cake), apple strudel or a homemade chocolate ice cream.
