Folklore Garden

Traditional Czech folklore show

Good Czech food, music, dancing and drinking are perhaps the best combination of how to fully enjoy your evening and also get to know the old Czech tradition. You cannot miss the Folklore Garden and its traditional Czech folklore show!

Folklore Garden and everything you can look forward to

How to get to the place? If you are interested, Folklore Garden will prepare a transport for you. The transport will safely drive you back to your accommodation. The transfer will pick you up at 18:40 – 19:00 at the hotel reception and drives you back after the show. The show ends at 10:00 p.m.

Everything starts with a Slavic toast, namely traditional mead. Mead makes sure to put you in a good mood and whet your appetite. Next comes the serving of food on the table, in the form of banquets. The food is served in the middle of your table.

Dancers in costumes from different regions of Bohemia and Moravia will bring the right atmosphere. They will dance their traditional dances for you. There will also be a dulcimer. The musicians will play and sing Czech songs that they will be happy to teach you. You will also get the chance to play the musicians’ musical instruments! Games are another fun activity.

We even have a surprise for our birthday persons. They can look forward to a cake and real Czech sváčková, just like grandmas.

Folklore Garden and served meal (traditional menu)

For food, Folklore Garden offers a vegetarian, traditional and chicken menu, but be aware! Our special offer only applies to the traditional menu with unlimited drinks. If you wish to change the menu or add an upgrade, you must contact us in advance about the change (vegetarian, chicken, pork knuckle, duck, salmon, trout).

The menu includes 4 courses. As a starter, you can have bread with a homemade cottage cheese spread. Then follows a traditional Czech potato soup. You’ll fill your stomach with three types of roast meat (smoked scrag-end, chicken drumstick, pork steak). Baked potatoes and cabbage salad are served as side dishes. The menu ends with dessert, and what other dessert is more traditionally Czech than an apple strudel? So simply enjoy your meal.
